We like to tour around and visit some of the smaller towns around our area. Mostly weekends we travel Bradenton to Naples and check out the music, the food and the sights.
There’s always so much to see and do in Florida – and all in the warm sunshine! Great times at the waterfront, on Pine Island with Bruce and Lil, in Bradenton with Jamie and Brenda, and here ‘at home’!

The Presidential (run-off) election was held today and contrary to the North American way elections are festive and fun in Costa Rica. Our friend Alvaro’s band preformed traditional CR music for voters as they cast their ballot.
We both enjoy eating good food and preparing it. Marg whipped up a few amazing meals recently that deserve special mention.
Our friend Ruth (Canadian) invited us to Playa Blanca – a private beach on the Pacific coast near Herradura. A beautiful beach and a beautiful day…..
