The Presidential (run-off) election was held today and contrary to the North American way elections are festive and fun in Costa Rica.  Our friend Alvaro’s band preformed traditional CR music for voters as they cast their ballot.

We both enjoy eating good food and preparing it. Marg whipped up a few amazing meals recently that deserve special mention.

Our friend Ruth (Canadian) invited us to Playa Blanca – a private beach on the Pacific coast near Herradura. A beautiful beach and a beautiful day…..

These two waterfalls are among the best in Costa Rica – approximately 60 m high and they are both easily accessible in the middle of the jungle yet only 40 minutes from Atenas.
