Our boat has become a place to hang out for some of the cruisers in our end of the marina. We have met some really interesting people here and everybody has a story to tell. One of the guys next to us, Don Barr, and his daughter are publishing a sailor’s guide to Cuba called: “Cruising in Cuba” due out this spring. Don is not only a long time Cuba sailor but also a former Bluenose Captain (for 20 years!) – nickname: “ The 10 cent Captain”. There are a lot of characters here….!!!!
Today is “Ground Hog Day” in Canada……I still don’t understand how it works!
