We finally arrived in Lauderdale. The ICW trip from Palm Beach to Lauderdale there were 20 bridges. Since the weather was perfect we sailed offshore about 1.5 miles and did the trip in about 6 hours. It was beautiful on the outside – look at the pictures. Lauderdale is the boating capital of the world. If you see a big boat just keep looking you will see an even bigger one soon. Our boat is 42ft the one beside us is the same builder but 50% bigger at 64ft. Of course the cruise ships are here including the largest one in the world (capacity 8,000 passengers and crew).
If the weather is good tonight we will leave for Bimini and spend the US Thanksgiving there. (click on the pictures to enlarge)
