We had our rental bikes until 1:30 so we decided to ride some of the back streets and explore the “real” Key West. The homes are amazing. Almost every home is very old and completely renovated and nicely appointed with trees and vegetation – beautiful!!
We are planning to leave tomorrow so we are doing last minute things….and since there is football fever in the air we will watch some of the two games that are on today.

did you rent scooters too? or see any wandering roosters? or go to hemingways house? or go to the most souther point in the contenential usa?? there is a big bell there. did you like the green parrot? it looked busy!

We rented bicycles instead of a scooter (we need the exercise). We didn’t go to Hemingway House but we did go to the beach and traveled around looking at the beautiful houses and checked out all the live music. The “Parrot” was really busy because the band was a big name from Miami. We planned to leave today for Lauderdale but the weather has us pinned down again. Planning to come back to Key West on the weekend and then leave for Cuba….
