Today we rented a car and headed for Vinales, a beautiful part of Cuba west of Havana. We stayed overnight there and enjoyed the mountains and farmland. I am sorry we can’t post pictures at present because the Internet is the equivalent to “dial-up” (not high-speed), however, I have the pictures ready to post when we get back to Canada on the 11th…..they are beautiful – stay tuned!!!
The drive through the country was awesome. We saw a part of Cuba many travelers don’t see. We arrived in Vinales and found a “Casa Particulaire” ( B&B ) then went out to enjoy a lively music show (cover charge of $1).
