Today was market day and we enjoyed the morning poking around and buying some veggies and fruit. Later we went downtown and bought a few things just to check out the stores and the vibe. Marg is making a sign for “Kay’s” (a local ex-pat hangout) to help find the equipment we need for the Film Fest in January. We also found a German pastry shop and cafe where I was able to buy homemade sausage and some sauerkraut. Should be good…..

Hi Dorine! Ya, the Friday market is great and always busy – tons of fruit and veggies – fresh bananas, pineapple, watermelon (not quite mango season yet)…and just the wonderful “vibe” of an outdoor market!
Thanks for “going to the market” with us! 🙂
