We left Cocoa at daybreak, put in 68 miles, and crossed under 8 bridges until we tied up in Ft. Pierce. It’s the weekend and since it was a beautiful, warm sunny day, traffic was busy on the ICW. There were lots of sailboats and cats heading south with us… LARGE motor boats zooming by us going north and south, and many people in small pleasure crafts out touring, fishing, or pulled up on little islands. It’s just so great being outside all day – beautiful water and big skies all around us, pelicans diving head first for their supper, porpoises frolicking in the waves…what a wonderful way to spend a November day!
