Having “4 wheels” is great – we can tour around the area, pick up provisions (good deals on food (and sunscreen!) at the dollar stores), buy odds and ends for the boat, and enjoy lunch out at a Pizza Hut buffet. Later, we had been invited to a small “boat show” near us, so we toured some Hunter sailboats, and then stayed for some wine, beer, and hot oysters. The oysters were steamed in huge pots right on the dock, then dumped out on a table where gloves and knives and melted butter, crackers, garlic and sea salt were ready! Then the “no-seeums” (tiny little flesh-biting gnats) chased us back to our boat and inside where we watched some hilarious episodes of “TWO and a half MEN”.
