{"id":856,"date":"2009-12-11T19:42:16","date_gmt":"2009-12-11T23:42:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/paulandmarg.paulweigel.com\/?p=856"},"modified":"2010-07-07T13:17:57","modified_gmt":"2010-07-07T17:17:57","slug":"farmers%e2%80%99-cay-cut-dec-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paulweigel.com\/photoblog\/farmers%e2%80%99-cay-cut-dec-11\/","title":{"rendered":"Farmers\u2019 Cay Cut, Dec. 11"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We left our anchorage in Farmer&#8217;s Cay about dawn (6:15) ahead of low tide and made our way on the outside (ocean side) hoping for a good day of sailing but the wind just didn&#8217;t happen. We motored for a while then put up the sails but would only make about 3.5-4.0 knts. We read slept and enjoyed the day and finally started the engines and made our way to Highbourne Cay Marina (about 40 miles south of Nassau). This is a one of the nicest marinas in the area &#8230;..about a hour after we arrived 2 mega yachts arrived. Looking forward to Nassau and connecting with some sailing friends we met in St. Augustine.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-856 gallery-columns-2 gallery-size-thumbnail'><dl
