We are sailing from the Thunderbolt Marine aboard a 2006 \u2013 42 ft Lagoon catamaran named \u201cSabbatical 2&#8243;. We will travel down the Inter-coastal Waterway to Fort Lauderdale FL. and from there cross the Gulf Stream and sail to the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and then on to the British Virgin Islands. With many stops in between our start and finish the trip should take 2+ months of glorious sailing and exploring the islands and many secluded anchorages along the way. The BVI is considered to be one of the most beautiful sailing and diving locations in the world \u2013 and the Bahamas have some of the best beaches. How can you do better than that?<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this blog is to share our adventure with you through the journals, photographs, and videos we post here.<\/p>\n<p>To receive update notices about new posting to our Blog click the \u201cRSS Feed\u201d.
