Key West, Jan. 25

We had planned to leave for Lauderdale this morning but a cold front blew through and we had 30knt winds and high seas. Everyone stayed in port including the huge ferry cat that takes people out to Fort Jefferson (Dry Tortuga).  I went to the shower and came out 20 minutes later and the temperature had dropped 10 degrees and the wind went from 12 to 25 knots and it started to rain…..glad we decided to sit this one out and stay in Key West one more day – a quiet day reading and relaxing…..

A couple hours of overcast skies and rain then the sun came out and except for some wind everything goes back to “NORMAL”.
